is it made of?

ในการถามว่าสิ่งของมาจากอะไร เราจะใช้ What is it made of? หรือ What are they made of? โดยปกติคำตอบจะเป็นสสาร เช่น wood, gold, silver
2.
สสารเป็นคำนามนับไม่ได้ ดังนั้นจึงไม่ใส่ article a/an และไม่มีรูปพหูพจน์
Example: 1.What are your shoes made of? รองเท้าของคุณทำมาจากอะไร
2.
They are made of leather. มันทำด้วยหนัง
3.
ในกรณีสิ่งที่ใช้ทำหรือประดิษฐ์
ถูกแปรสภาพไปจากเดิม เราต้องใช้ from
แทน of (หลัง from อาจจะเป็นนามพหูพจน์ได้)
Example: 1.Bread is made from wheat. ขนมปังทำจากข้าวสาลี
2. Ice cream is made from milk and
sugar. ไอศกรีมทำจากนมและน้ำตาล
